The workshop will also introduce the new Cornwall Link network which is an online resource where individuals, families, carers, volunteers and healthcare professionals can find out about community based activities and services that help reduce isolation and increase health and wellbeing. This is an opportunity to find out how your can get your service or product in front of this audience for free.

The Funding part of the day will be led by Louise Treacher of 4George who is a professional bid writer and grant manager.

The Cornwall Link part of the day will be led by Lee Davies who is the Marketing & Communications Advisor for Age UK Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

This is a one-off workshop is being delivered as part of SSE Cornwall Engine Room Programme of support for pre-start and start-up social enterprises.

Each Engine Room programme workshop is led by business professionals with experience in both the commercial and social enterprise fields. The workshops are interactive, with activities that help you to explore ideas, find out more about the social enterprise approach to doing business and meet other social enterprises. The content of the workshops is carefully crafted to ensure you are supported to develop your social enterprise to a point of sustainable delivery.
