Vote for St Just Community Library

St Just Community Library have applied for the Calor Rural Community Fund, and need your help in securing a place on the shortlist!

The fund of up to £5,000 is designed to offer rural, off-grid communities the chance to win funding for projects that will improve local life. These projects could be anything from community centres and village halls, to sporting venues and youth clubs.

St Just Community Library, an Engine Room client located in the heart of St Just, has an excellent selection of books, four computers for free use, printing/copying facilities, DVD hire and tourist information services, as well as activity sessions and a space for use by other groups. This means the library is also host to groups such as Family History group, Creative Writing group, Spinners, and Children’s book group, amongst others.

To vote, click here. Then register (which takes less than a minute), click ‘vote for projects’, search by location (Cornwall) and find ‘St Just Community Library refurbishment’. Only the five most popular projects will make the final shortlist, so every vote is vital – you can vote for the same project ten times!

The deadline for voting is June 26th, so act quickly! To read more about how the fund works, click here, and for more information about St Just Community Library, visit the Friends of St Just Library website.
